Warranty Policy
Effective Date: October 26, 2023
At Delta Team Tactical, we stand behind the quality and performance of the parts and accessories we sell. We work with reputable manufacturers and use modern production methods to offer components that meet the demands of serious shooters, builders, and professionals. This Warranty Policy explains what is covered, what is not, and how to seek support if an issue arises.
1. Limited Warranty
Delta Team Tactical (“DTT”) provides a Limited Warranty on Delta Team Tactical–branded products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Unless a different period is expressly stated on the product page or packaging:
- Delta Team Tactical–branded parts and assemblies are covered for defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the original purchaser.
- Consumable items (such as springs, pins, small hardware, and other wear components) may have a more limited warranty or be excluded, as noted on the product listing.
This Limited Warranty applies only to the original retail purchaser and is not transferable.
2. Product Category–Specific Coverage
Because we offer a wide variety of brands and product types, warranty coverage may differ:
-
Delta Team Tactical–Branded Products
Covered under DTT’s Limited Warranty as described above, for structural integrity and defects in materials or workmanship under normal intended use. -
Third‑Party / Branded Products
Items manufactured by other companies (e.g., optics, triggers, barrels, stocks, accessories, etc.) are generally covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty. DTT is not the warrantor for these products, but we will assist you in contacting the manufacturer or providing proof of purchase when possible. -
Blemished, Clearance, or “As‑Is” Items
Products clearly sold as blemished, factory seconds, used, or as‑is may have limited or no warranty coverage beyond that explicitly stated at the time of sale. Cosmetic imperfections that are disclosed or expected on blemished items are not considered defects.
3. What This Warranty Does NOT Cover
This Warranty does not cover damage, malfunction, or failures caused by, or resulting from:
-
Improper Installation or Assembly
- Incorrect installation, forcing parts into place, or failure to follow manufacturer or qualified gunsmith instructions.
- Use of incompatible parts or combinations of parts.
-
Unauthorized Modifications or Alterations
- Any home or DIY modifications, including but not limited to unapproved drilling, grinding, cutting, polishing, bending, or altering the product beyond its intended design.
- Changes to factory specifications or safety mechanisms.
-
Normal Wear and Tear
- Expected wear to finishes, coatings, or surfaces (e.g., anodizing, nitride, DLC, cerakote, parkerizing) over time.
- Normal spring fatigue, erosion, or other degradation from typical use and round count.
-
Misuse, Negligence, or Abuse
- Use of out‑of‑spec, reloaded, or over‑pressure ammunition.
- Failure to properly clean, lubricate, and maintain the firearm or component.
- Dropping, striking, or otherwise subjecting products to abnormal impact or environmental conditions.
- Use beyond normal sporting, duty, or recreational purposes (e.g., destructive testing or abuse).
-
Improper System Configuration
- Damage resulting from an incorrect combination of parts (e.g., mismatched gas system, buffer, or spring) causing excessive stress on components.
- Failure to follow manufacturer recommendations regarding compatible hardware or configuration.
-
Corrosion or Environmental Damage
- Rust, pitting, or other damage from improper storage, exposure to corrosive environments, or lack of care.
-
Non‑Firearm Use or Altered Purpose
- Using components for any purpose other than their intended design.
If it is determined that a product has been misused, altered, or improperly installed, the warranty will not apply.
